New and Noteworthy
Newsletter Corrections

• The Tres de Mayo party at Dan's home on 5/3 should not have been included in the printed newsletter and calendar. The party is a private, invitation-only event that was not meant for the general CSAC membership. Please attend only if you receive an invitation from Dan himself. We apologize for our mistake and any inconveniences it may have caused.

• Next month's newsletters will be assembled at Gerry's home, not at Mason Elementary. See blurb below.

Late-Breaking Stuff

• Due to the storms on Sunday 4/6, the softball schedule has been adjusted. There will be one more practice day (Sunday 4/13) before the regular season starts; this will also be the last day to turn in registration forms. The draft will take place that day (regardless of inclement weather!), and the first game will be Sunday 4/27. No game on Easter.

• Kay and Paula want to know if anyone is interested in attending RENEW on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month. Contact Kay.

• If interested in sponsoring Pitch 'n' Putt Golf or Sand Volleyball, contact Kay for information.

• Team managers are no longer needed for the CSAC Softball league.

You can receive periodic event updates by email. Let us know if you'd like to be added to the email list. And don't forget, you can call the Events Hotline, (314) 995-5096, 24/7!

Help Us Help You
The next planning meeting will be held at during volleyball beginning at 7:00 pm on Tuesday 4/8 at Mason Elementary. If you have an event idea, come and tell us all about it, or contact Gerry with the particulars. Remember: Sponsors are the lifeblood of our organization!

Not new, but definitely noteworthy... please help us stuff, fold, staple, and label next month's newsletters on Monday 4/28 at Gerry's home. It's a thankless job, but somebody's gotta do it! If you'd like to join us, please email Gerry or simply show up at his house.

Did You Know That...
It Takes All Kinds

At last count we had 134 full and associate members.

Our 29 temporary members need a warm welcome at all of our events. If you see a new face, please say hello!

The average age of our members is 37.

Roughly 12% of our members are aged 21 to 29; 22% are between 30 and 34, 31% are between 35 and 39, and 30% are 40 and over. (The remaining 5% did not disclose their age.)

The male-to-female ratio in our club is 1 to 1.11. For our math-challenged readers, that means we have 64 men and 70 women.

Nearly 98% of our members have a bachelor's degree; of that group, 30% have gone on to obtain a master's degree and, of those, 3% have obtained a doctorate degree.

Creativeness Is Next to Godliness

We need help preparing the infamous 2003 CSAC Directory. If you have some free time and would be willing to help us compile data and prepare the directory for printing, please email Judy or Jeff.

We can always use free publicity! Tell your friends about us, or let us know how we can reach more singles in the metro area.
